Communication

If you are the project manager, you will have to communicate regularly with your construction contractors to determine the progress of the work. Proper communication will ensure that nothing is left out, and everything goes according to plan. If there are certain issues that need to be dealt with, you will need to speak to the people working on the project to get it sorted out. You will have to speak to the construction managers or contractors on a daily basis to ensure that the project is going according to plan.

Maintain Written Records

When you hire the contractor to work on your construction project, it is very important to maintain a file with all the relevant document. Keep a file with all the written records, signed agreements and any other paperwork together. You will also need to maintain any minutes of meetings, project milestones, and other relevant documentation that you might have.
